I hope you all have a wonderful winter break and a joyful holiday season! Rest up, and see you in January ready to kick off another awesome semester!
October is National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month! At BGE, we are bringing awareness to bullying prevention in several ways:
Monday, Oct. 3 is World Blue Shirt Day to help bring awareness to bullying prevention.
Counselors taught lessons on bullying definitions, prevention, and kindness during the month of October.
The week of 10/10, counselors are challenging students to make friends with other students that they don’t know very well.
The week of 10/17, counselors are challenging students to perform random acts of kindness throughout the building.
Students are participating in a poster contest; winning posters will be selected to be displayed in the hallways of the school. They will be posted for our Muffins with Moms event Oct. 28th.
September is National Attendance Month. Here at BGE, we are running a grade level attendance competition. The class in each grade level with the best attendance for the month of September will earn a prize. Stay tuned for more attendance challenges throughout the year!
